OneLight is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping first-time homebuyers through a rental program in combination with a financial assistance program to assist qualified households. Our mission is to offer a clear path to homeownership for individuals and families with low to median incomes through a rental program, financial literacy education, and personalized guidance. By addressing both immediate housing needs and long-term financial goals, we help families achieve sustainable homeownership within 1–2 years, making a lasting impact across communities.

For many hardworking families, rising rent costs make it difficult to save, forcing them to use what little they have to stay afloat. As a result, the goal of owning a home can feel increasingly out of reach. Without access to financial education or support, living paycheck to paycheck becomes a cycle that not only delays homeownership, but also increases the risk of eviction or homelessness.

At OneLight, we believe homeownership should be attainable—not just a distant dream. That’s why our programs focus on breaking the rental cycle and financial instability. We equip families with the tools, resources, and knowledge to build financial security and take meaningful steps toward a stable, long-term future in a home of their own.
