Homeownership Pathway Program

The Homeownership Pathway Program creates a bridge from renting to owning by offering program participants the chance to live in a OneLight home. Through a required 12-month Financial Training Program, individuals gain the tools, confidence, and financial foundation needed to become successful first-time homeowners.

    Homeownership Pathways Program – Participant Requirements

    To participate, individuals and families must meet the following criteria:

    - Income Eligibility:
    Have a household income at or below the Area Median Income (AMI).

    - Affordable Housing: Rent a OneLight-owned property.

    - Structured Savings Plan:
    Commit to saving a portion of their monthly income towards the purchase of a future home.

    - Financial Education:
    Complete the required 12-month Financial Training Program focused on budgeting, credit, and homeownership readiness.

    - Path to Ownership:
    Upon successful program completion, participants apply their savings and may qualify for a OneLight down payment grant to be applied toward the purchase of their first home.
